Snow and Shepherd’s Pie

We’ve had the most wonderful spring/summer weather. I think it was up to 80 degrees this past weekend. So, the snow last night was a rude interruption for this delightfulness. We’ve been thinking we should go around to all the little budding flowers and trees and tell them that spring was just an April Fool’s joke and they should stay under cover until May or so.

But, so we did have snow, blustery winds, and dropping temperatures. And it seemed a good night to make the Shepherd’s Pie I’ve been planning to make. First time I’ve ever made Shepherd’s Pie. And, what a treat.
Loved it. Served with carrots.

Recipe said “easy peasy” and “cheap as chips.” I’d have to agree.
And fabulously delicious!
